Every port carries the full processing chain — zone the keyboard by note range, send program changes, assign knob CCs, retune, shape velocity, latch notes, filter unwanted MIDI signals, expand notes into chords, arpeggiate, and send tempo-synced clock. Sync the whole rig to incoming clock on MIDI IN. Configure per port, per preset.
Alternate tunings per port
Nine built-in scales — 12-EDO (Standard), 19-EDO, 24-EDO quartertones, 31-EDO, 5-limit Just Intonation, Pythagorean, Bohlen-Pierce, Slendro, and Pelog — each assignable per port. Microtonal offsets are delivered via pitch-bend, so the receiving synth must respond to pitch-bend messages. Best suited to lead lines and melodic parts; chord voicings in a non-standard tuning share a single pitch-bend value per channel, so they approximate rather than intonate each note individually.
Velocity
Reshape how hard-you-play maps to how loud-it-sounds, per port. Pick a curve — Linear (pass-through), Soft (quiet notes get quieter, easier expressive playing), Hard (quiet notes get louder, more consistent output), S-Curve (compressed extremes, expanded middle), or Fixed (every note lands at one velocity, ignore how you played). Scale and offset the curve independently for finer control. Different curves per port let one keyboard drive a soft lead and a punchy synth from the same touch.
Arpeggiator
Arpeggiate held chords with rate, gate, and latch.
MIDI filter
Block specific CCs, program change, pitch bend, or aftertouch.
Chord generator
Turn every note you play into a full chord, per port. Two modes: Chord picks one of 13 fixed types (Maj, Min, Sus2, Sus4, Dim, Aug, Maj7, Min7, 7, Maj9, Min9, Add9, 5th) and stacks the same intervals above every played root. Diatonic locks to a Key and Mode — 16 scales including all seven Church modes, harmonic and melodic minor, pentatonic major/minor, blues, whole-tone, half-whole diminished, phrygian dominant, hungarian minor — then builds proper diatonic chords from a Voicing selector (Triad, 3rd, 5th, Sus, 6th, 7th, Add9, 9th) so every scale degree gets its correct chord automatically. Play C in C Major with Voicing = 7th and get Cmaj7; play G and get G7; play D and get Dm7 — same input, right harmony for the key.
MIDI clock — master or slave
Generate a rock-solid 24 PPQ clock and route it to any combination of the three outs, or slave the whole rig to external clock on MIDI IN. Tap-tempo from any button. Drum machines, delay pedals, and the onboard arpeggiator all lock to the same beat.
